Hi, I’m Kaci, a late 20-something living in Colorado. My husband Ryan and I are currently expecting our first child, a baby boy due in November. I should also mention that I’m obsessed with our two dogs, Bailey and Benji.

I’m currently a Master’s of Public Health student at Colorado School of Public Health, concentrating in Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyles. I’m a NASM-certified personal trainer, ACE-certified group fitness instructor, ACE-certified health coach, and Jazzercise instructor. Essentially I’m a fitness nut; physical activity is a huge part of my life! Some of my favorite workouts are Jazzercise, yoga, running, and group fitness classes (weight lifting and HIIT). Nutrition is also one of my passions and while family is my priority right now, I someday hope to complete the requirements to become a registered dietitian. My ultimate goal is to one day have my own nutrition counseling and personal training practice.

My philosophy is that healthy living should be enjoyable and shouldn’t get in the way of life. I eat healthy most the time and enjoy treats when I want. I exercise nearly every day; it’s usually one of my favorite parts of the day because I enjoy the workouts I do.

I use this blog primarily as a journal for myself and to keep my family up-to-date with my life. I also hope it inspires others to make healthier choices and show that eating healthy and exercising doesn’t have to be complicated or a chore. Thanks for joining me in my little corner of the internet!
